Daily P&L calendar

Every trading day,
green, red or flat.

An equity curve hides the texture. This is the same money day by day, so you can see whether a month was three big days or twenty small ones, where the red clusters, and how often nothing happens at all. Every cell traces to rows in the published trade files.

What you are looking at: every published engine summed — one contract each*, on its own separate account. Every day shown here is backtested, the most recent ones included, and the final month runs only as far as the backtests do rather than to a month end. Nothing on this page is live trading: the forward test of actual account fills is published monthly, on the Forward Test page.

* Ripple and Surge are sized at two contracts; Aperture, Rift and Coil at one; Iris is sized to a fixed dollar risk per trade, so its contract count varies — each engine as tested and shipped.

—

Hypothetical backtested monthly results, engine by engine. Each column is one engine on its own account, net of commission and one tick of slippage per contract. Columns are not added together.

Days with no cell are days the book did not trade — a filter stood every engine down, or no setup appeared. They are shown rather than skipped, because how often a system does nothing is part of what you are buying.

HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE — NO ACTUAL TRADING

HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE MANY INHERENT LIMITATIONS, SOME OF WHICH ARE DESCRIBED BELOW. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN; IN FACT, THERE ARE FREQUENTLY SHARP DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND THE ACTUAL RESULTS SUBSEQUENTLY ACHIEVED BY ANY PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM. ONE OF THE LIMITATIONS OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS IS THAT THEY ARE GENERALLY PREPARED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. IN ADDITION, HYPOTHETICAL TRADING DOES NOT INVOLVE FINANCIAL RISK, AND NO HYPOTHETICAL TRADING RECORD CAN COMPLETELY ACCOUNT FOR THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL RISK OF ACTUAL TRADING. FOR EXAMPLE, THE ABILITY TO WITHSTAND LOSSES OR TO ADHERE TO A PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM IN SPITE OF TRADING LOSSES ARE MATERIAL POINTS WHICH CAN ALSO ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS. THERE ARE NUMEROUS OTHER FACTORS RELATED TO THE MARKETS IN GENERAL OR TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ANY SPECIFIC TRADING PROGRAM WHICH CANNOT BE FULLY ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE PREPARATION OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND ALL WHICH CAN ADVERSELY AFFECT TRADING RESULTS.

Every figure on this page attributed to our own engines comes from backtests produced in the NinjaTrader® Strategy Analyzer. No orders were executed in a funded account and no money was at risk. Results are one contract per account, net of commission as charged by the platform and one full tick of slippage on every contract on every trade. Simulated figures are labeled as simulations where they appear. Tick Replay: Iris is backtested with NinjaTrader® Tick Replay enabled, so entries and exits are evaluated tick by tick inside each bar instead of at bar boundaries — the most precise fill simulation the platform offers. Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss.
